Don’t care what anybody says, really liked it.

Didn’t undermine what Anakin did at all imo because he still ended Palpatine for at least 30 years. Also still saved the rebellion and saved Luke Skywalker.

Luke was so much better in this and JJ kinda spat on Rians interpretation of Luke (which I loved).

Leia got to save her son, like Luke and their father. Was dope.

Rey is a Skywalker. Not by blood but through the Force. Her connection with Ben will live on through his life Force (which lives on within her).

Palpatine was done very well. Ian was great. Much better than I expected, seemed like a physical embodiment of the Dark Side, which is what he’d need to be to survive the life force.

Threepio, Chewie, BB-8, Han, Lando, all were great.

Finn was good, and possibly Force-sensitive. I bet that’s what he wanted to say to Rey. And that’s why she said he understood what she was going through.

Gave every character a positive path forward. Rey with the Jedi, Finn with the deserters, Poe with Zori or the new government.

We definitely could’ve gotten more Force ghosts, but the voices were good and was good enough.

I think the Force dyad thing is OP, but Palpatine just is OP. It’s in character for Palpatine to be manipulative like that and also use some weird Force thing to do it.

Some flaws but given the hand dealt in Last Jedi this was fantastic.
