Discussion Thread: The #1 Denver Broncos will be facing #1 Carolina Panthers in Super Bowl 50, February 7th in Santa Clara, Cal.

Random thoughts about this game and fandom:

-Panthers fans are arrogant and sure that they have the superior team. Then I remember they are 17-1, so there's good reason for their arrogance. -Compared to Pats fans spitting venom last week, Panthers fans are like your coworker who brags for a couple minutes after his fantasy team won a playoff game. It's harmless. -Cam is arguably the 6th best QB we have faced this season, behind Rodgers, Brady, Big Ben, Luck, and uncle Phil. Cam just has a better team around him than all the other QBs. Superior defense and o-line. -We have experience going to the SB. The week leading up to the game is filled with distractions. Our players have more experience in shielding the sound and the fury. However, Cam was a heisman winner and ntl champion in college, so he's experienced and thrived in a high pressure championship game before (while in the middle of a ncaa investigation). We may have an advantage for the rest of the Panthers though. -I hope Ward and Stewart are close to a 100%. We allowed the Pats to come back as soon as those guys went down. Cam is always looking for the big play, so our safety coverage will be essential to victory. -Panthers have thrived off of turnovers. Their defense is so aggressive. I hope we can make them pay for over pursuing. I don't see the Broncos winning with two turnovers in our own territory. We have to protect the ball. -Panthers are great at capitalizing off of turnovers. Give Cam a short field and he will make the Broncos pay. -Our pass rush is fearless. If the Broncos can get ahead early, Cam will be a lot easier to contain. Of course, it will be very difficult to go up by more than 10 pts against this defense. -we have superior coaching. If we can play chess against belichick and crew, we can play anyone, anywhere, anytime.

GO BRONCOS!
