Real estate is sometimes actually a really safe investment compared to many stocks because it's very difficult to blow up and lose all your capital unless some act of God wipes out your uninsured property or you are a complete moron. We had one person get swindled in crypto but most of those scams are extremely obvious to the slightly trained eye.

We are a bit younger customer base than boomers, so we only have a few gold bugs. People love real estate, private equity, tax benefits on startup stocks. Even boomers are dabbling in a little crypto now.

No one really wants gold anymore except the people who already own it. It's not exciting anyone recently, and is really just a store of value.
