Discussion Thread

I will start out by saying what I am not going to do. I am not going to focus on emotions in the sense of feeling or emotion, because this is too vague and it is more about how humans feel things than how other animals feel them. I am not going to focus on how emotions are logical or illogical, because the meaning of logic is too vague and fuzzy. It is also very unclear what a human would consider illogical or logical in an animal, since humans do not think like that. I am not going to focus on how emotions are often associated with logic, because the association is too vague and blurry. It also does not take into account that humans do not always associate logic with emotion. I am not going to focus on whether or not emotions are natural, because that is a loaded question. Humans have all kinds of different definitions for nature and the term does not apply universally. I am not going to focus on whether or not emotions are learned, because the definition of learning is too vague and it is unclear what humans would consider emotion. I am not going to focus on whether or not emotions are considered a part of the brain, because it is unclear what humans would consider emotion.
