I was born after 9/11 so it always has felt rather distant to me. I understand what it is and it was awful and I hate the little shits on r/unpopularopinion who get all edgy. I just wasn’t alive to feel what the rest of you guys feel.
So I’m wondering if it is just me or does 9/11 it feel more faded compared to the several months of fundamentally life altering social distancing and like a couple orders of magnitude more deaths.
Like we are past the post 9/11 world. It’s the post COVID world now.
Unfortunately I can’t think of a dictatorship that would we could topple like we did last time.
Venezuela sounds about right, but Belarus probably is more urgent.
NATO flairs give me your input.
