India's Foreign Minister gas gone on a bit of a diplomatic tour and started issuing statements that are outright anti-Western. He's implicitly called Europe hypocrites, reiterated their goal is a multipolar world order, and stated India has concerns about human rights in the US.

India has also drastically increased oil purchases from Russia and launched a trade corridor with Iran and Russia, both countries which oppose the West. Somewhat shockingly they've announced support for a joint border operation with China via the SCO as well.

At the same time, they've launched free trade negotiations with the UK, EU, and other western countries. They're drastically ramping up tires with Japan and want to purchase arms from them.

My main takeaway from this is that India is trying to show that they could align with any country if they wanted (which they don't, as they want to run an independent policy). The joint border operation they are doing with China sends the message to western countries that India is capable of coming to some sort of deal with China, a potential nightmare scenario for the West.
