They are hesitating to call any of the key battleground states for Trump even though it's pretty clear he has won and it would take some very strange occurrences for Biden to flip just about any of them. Whether it's damn near 100% voter turnout required or the remaining votes to break FAR more heavily for Biden than any other early or absentee votes, even in heavy democrat areas, have thus far.

It's pretty much done but you never know what sort of mysterious ballot boxes full of Biden votes will turn up, I suppose. And no news network wants to be in the position of having to explain how oddly unlikely it was for that to happen in multiple states.
