Again, people shouldn’t be making reports to the FBI that they already know aren’t credible. If they are, that’s an issue between the individual(s) and the FBI. It’s not the responsibility of a subreddit (only one social media platform out of dozens) to protect the FBI from faulty claims. I’m confident they have the staff to handle even the most outrageous of claims.
The mods now delete posts that are even in a similar category to previous posts, don’t let people post without “enough” karma, automatically delete posts and comments and leave it to be cleared up at a later time, delete any comment that contains a link to any other website, and instead are implementing these daily discussions that contains thousands of comments that people then have to sift through if they want to get any more information. It’s undeniably going to slow down the momentum of people incoming to this subreddit, which in a case that could span the entirety of the US, is pretty important. Gabby’s family want this discussed and share as much as it can be, to limit and censor a group of over 50,000 trying to do exactly that is wrong in my opinion.
