[Discussion] What does everyone think about the trend of rising rent in major cities across the country?

Bruh, I ain't never going to entertain the thought of moving to Cali. You got me fucked up if you think I'm moving to Cali to get a roommate just to live.

I looked up SF rent prices yesterday out of curiosity and you can get a broom closet of an apartment with no kitchen for $1200. Lol.

Apartments with kitchens go for 1700-2000 minimum. The 2 bedroom+ ones get over 2000-4000 easy. It's insane out there.

Yet we got the white tech boys getting pissy because native SF people want them to leave. Well yeah I would be upset to if I got to hold 2 jobs and have a roommate to live in a half decent apartment. If you ain't in tech in SF you have to hold at least 2 jobs or a real high paying one in another sector. Otherwise you commuting to work in SF, and traffic out there is brutal.
