[Discussion] What is the Future of Industry Careers in Machine Learning due to Better and Better APIs?

Being completely honest - are they? If you compare by years of experience, I'm not sure that ML people make more than non-ML people.

It was even a couple of years ago. The market is ruined now. More people are being trained in ML so the wages are coming down. Simple supply and demand. Kinda bitter about it actually..since google was one of the companies buying out Professors which definitely helped to ruin the market.

The way to get ultra higher pay in ML ( million dollar salary or even half a million ) now is by being a rockstar. Rockstar personality online( being an influencer ) and rockstar performance ( multiple successful startups, always in the news, etc ). But you know this...
