[DISCUSSION] What songs/albums do you believe are so bad that they have drastically tarnished an artists legacy?

I agree with everything you said.

A lot of pop fans, despite everything, gave Taylor Swift huge props cus she was writing and making good music despite all the questionable shit she's done - she's a smart woman, I don't get why she didn't realise that people were listening to her because the music was simply good despite the inspiration behind it. With reputation, the focus was so much on the spectacle, feels like she paid no attention to the music. All this time, her selling point was never the spectacle made in her music video although they generated talk and I feel like she made a mistake in not realising that. Idk, to me, an artist makes new music/album as either artistic endeavour or just something for the people to enjoy and it should be a body of work the artist can be proud of. 'Reputation' does none of that and feels like was just made for Taylor to prove her point - which is extremely childish and just insulting to any artistic integrity I think she had. That reduces the album and even TS as an artist in my eyes.

Imo, the purpose behind the album itself isnt from a good place and thats why it sucks so bad...
