I’m pretty shocked and a bit confused on how this did so well? It’s nice but I just find it ultimately unnecessary (especially compared to the likes of Has to Be which felt like proper extension of its parent album yet was kicked out really early). The vocals are nice, but Mariah doesn’t come close to hitting the highs she does in the English version. I guess with the strong Latin influence she felt she needed to sing a Spanish version of this as well. Only song in the entire rate I feel is way too high.

joshually: "I feel like we just included this so people could make fun of her masterful Spanish pronunciation…."

MrSwearword: "no es magnifico pero su voz es muy rica. Su español es muy bien"

tevinterimperium: "Bilingual legend! Shanti/Ashtangi is shook."

TragicKingdom1: "I thought a Spanish translation would work even better than the original considering the vibe of the song but unfortunately the lines tend to end with awkward sounds. The original flows better as a result."

mokitsu: "justin biber could never"

Elitefourbrad: "Queen of Spanish titles, J Lo who?"

zamomattel: "I was so excited for a new song I hadn't heard but I got this. Escandalo!"

Ghost-Quartet: "Is her pronunciation great? Who can tell? I certainly can’t. But she sounds great, and that’s the important thing. “My All” had pretty heavy Latin influences so it makes sense that she would make a Spanish version, props to her for Mariah for going the extra mile."

therokinrolla: "all of my fears is spanish"

Banananaise: "gets an extra half a point for being in spanish but sorry mary not good enough for the big seven point zero"

awryj: "I mean, why would I rate it differently than the English version"

VeganSquash: "very uninspired"

skargardin: "How could I give it a lower score than the original? This version is also really really good."

stardustanddinos: "i like this better than the English version, honestly. it flows better, and adds to the instrumental well."

BiPolarBear17: "No, gracias."

patronsaintofaspies: "Aren't you just happy that a Hispanic woman holds the record for most weeks at #1 on Billboard? She could have been tied with some little white piece of shit without any knowledge of Spanish at all. Fortunately, that'd never happen! <3"

rsmitty99: "The first line of the song "I am thinking of you" was mistranslated and was grammatically incorrect. It should be "Te soy pensado" but instead it says "Te estoy pensado". -1 for the mistake."

Jelboo: "The Latin flavour elevates it a bit"

letsallpoo: "MI TODO YOOOOOO TE DOOOYYYY POR UNA NOCHE MÁS"

omgcow: "bueno"

jamesfog: "LA VOZ"

PM_ME_YOUR_DICK_BRAH: "Okay but seriously how many songs are there gonna be that make me go to google translate. At least her voice shines which brings my score up a whole point"

rickikardashian: "She didn’t do a bad job translating the song, like the message overall is still there, but there are just some phrases that feel kind of unnatural to hear"

nooodisaster: "This song was boring enough when I understood the lyrics."
