[Discussion] Where do you see yourself as a kpop fan in 5 years?

im not what you would call a 'whole genre' fan. i lurk around here for a) less overt death squealing than tumblr when Vixx news pops up and b) the 'what do you think about....' discussions. so im really not avid to begin with.

sure theres other kpop songs i like, but i only really care about one group, and in five years its gonna be half of them in the military. unless they all decide to go together and just have nothing for a couple years (unlikly, personally my ideal situation, but kpop is very about constant content, its not like here where people will go a couple of years without releases all the time), its gonna be like 7-8 years of no ot6 if they do what most idols do and all of them push it off till thay have to go. so it'll probably more just keeping me ear out and if they dont all go at once just watching individual activities. all this assuming there's no disbanding, in which case probably watch their individual activities with varying levels of interest.

i highly doubt another group will pop up where i like pretty much their entire discography. plus i don't pay to much attention to newer groups, do to the fact i'm a bit uncomfortable being an adult when they're all like 16. half of vixx is older than me, so its kinda whatever for them.

i do currently have one eye somewhat on Gugudan so if theyre still around they'll probaby have some of my attention, and Seo In Guk will be out of the military by then, since he's probs going in within the next year, so that's something (i don't consider him pop, sure he's got pop-y stuff, but he's not pop. included him because some people categorize him as an idol, he's not really though)

i swear the pure Jelpi thing going on here wasn't on purpose, it just kinda happened organically
