The environment does not fit the lighting used, it causes poor subject separation from the background while simultaneously looking like a poorly done composite image.

It also does not typically look very flattering to have only a specular highlight directly in the center of the eyes.

Usually if you want some high key lighting, it works a little better to have a larger reflector to spread the light out, and have it coming from all around the subject or ever so slightly above them to get smoother highlights and avoid the white dot right in the center of the eyes (unless you like that kind of thing, but for me, it just looks a little strange when that happens).
