'Disenchantment' Scores 2-Season Renewal at Netflix

Futurama didn’t do much for Sci-Fi. The first time I watched the show, it was actually pretty decent, but the second time around, it was honestly pretty hard to watch. Plots aren’t that good, jokes are awfully bad and cringe, the show can be edgy as hell when it tries to talk about religion, it’s a very generic cartoon and I just don’t dig the atmosphere. The show is even afraid to curse and be crude at some points. Kind of silly IMO as it’s an adult cartoon.

But I’m mainly referring to the Comedy Central seasons, not the fox ones as I haven’t really watched the fox ones. Only the ones past 2008.

If you want to watch a show with amazing satire, watch South Park. This show is like the Beatles of satire, couldn’t recommend it enough. Futurama doesn’t even come close with its cringe satire and bleak outlook on society.
