I couldn't possibly disagree, however before & during WWII, there wasn't the same outrage and shock about the holocaust as there is now. Granted, the public knows a great deal more now about what really happened, but there were a lot of Americans turning away or shunning Jewish (and other 'detained') immigrants who were able to flee. Kind of how non-white immigrants are treated now. It's horrible what's happening to ___ people, but not horrible enough that Mr & Mrs Random want them living next door.

Maybe in thirty more years we'll look back and realise Iraqis are human and just perhaps shouldn't have been used as expendable political tools.
