Ditched the Inforce and got a proper light. Olight Odin mini.

Also if you read the publicly available lawsuit the flashlight isn't at fault it was the batteries it contained. The flashlight is a inert tube there is nothing combustible to it. The issue with olight was a old model with the Chineseium lithium metal batteries not the the lithium-ion batteries from today's standards. If you swap out the batteries with modlite rechargeable its good to go. Also a really interesting read is the article paragraph 2 in particular with links to the actual court documents and case itself. Then the following examples of surefire flashlight explosions as well yet no hate there.
