The divide.

What you are saying really has no relevance here but I can play scripture games with you. Past, scripture isn't the be all.. end all. Just a starting point for a relationship with Jesus, God and the Holy Spirit.

" If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us.  we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. if we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word is not in us."

Jesus was pretty clear when he said mind your own and love others. He was clear in word and action. Certainly he doesn't want anyone harming themselves or others in ideal circumstances. Circumstances are most often not ideal and He said very clearly to not judge anyone else.
