Divorce and Financial Ruin. Need advice.

I understand what you are saying. I feel I should easily be able to pay for everything based on my salary, but there is a lot of left out information since I was trying to keep things short as possible.

My employee contribution to benefits at work for instance are about $1000/month which I think is ridiculous. My girlfriend and I recently moved from PA to AZ since the cost of living was much lower. She recently lost her her job and hasn't been able to find something that pays very well so I have been basically helping to supplement her the last couple of months.

As far as my $1500/month, it breaks down like this: $1000 Child Support $354 2nd Mortgage Payment $220 IRS

The 2nd mortgage balance I negotiated will be forgiven when the 60 monthly payments of $354 are completed. The rest will be written off and of course I will be taxed on about $63k

The $40k I owe in debt is from the credit cards my ex took out in my name without me knowing and a couple of other things. I am not currently making any type of payment on this debt.

Remember, I just got a pay raise in December form $75k to $90k. In Jan and Feb I incurred vehicle repairs of $1400 that ate up most of any reserve I had. After I make car and insurance payments via automatic deductions each month, I take home about $1200 bi weekly. My rent is $885/month. Electric about $130/month. Cable $125/month. I cover cellphone for three people at $200/month. Groceries are about $500/month. $354/month 2nd mortgage. $220/month IRS. $60/month as part of another debt settlement. The child support is automatically deducted so that isn't part of my monthly bills. These arent all exact numbers.

Im not going out drinking or going on vacations. We go out for a movie on occasion or find something cheap to do on a weekend. I could live more cheaply, but I have to have some enjoyment in my life.
