No it isn't. It's just an admission there have been no recent studies. Your was a study of human nature, and that nature has clearly changed as evidenced by the dramatic increase in self reports. Do I really need to cite that transition treatments have spiked? That's as much my problem as yours. You are asserting there is "no issue with current treatments" because there are no studies but that is not how we approve medical treatments normally for what should be obvious reasons.

In case you weren't aware, there is a phenomenon called DID aka "multiple personality disorder" that was exceedingly rare. Then some popular movies came out in the 70s and 80s and suddenly there is an actually literally impossible number of people that came forward. It was short lived. I expect this to play out the same way.
