Amnesty is a losing issue and Trump is killed any chance at reelection in 2020. Do you think Chuck and Nancy are being beneficent and have the best interests of Americans and the GOP at heart? Preserving DACA is good for the Democrats, not the GOP.

These people are no "conservative" at heart. Among DACA recipients, around 20% drop out of high school, another 30% don't progress beyond high school, the illegitimacy rate among mothers is over 50%, most mothers collect TANF for their anchor babies and crime is endemic among this group (the number who become disqualfied or remain qualified because of the "lesser" nature the offense is incredible).

Trump won key states by only a few thousands votes. Each legalized DACA recipient implies 5 to 10 chain migrants. Legalizing 800,000 people will result in 4,000,000 to 8,000,000 legal Hispanics flooding into the country. How does this serve the interests of American workers or improve the GOP's electoral prospects?
