DM played my character for me while I get personal life sorted, changed my characters stats and appearance. Should I not return to the game?

I don't see it as being a doormat, I see it as being low maintenance. All I ask is to be treated with decency or if you lowkey can't stand me, civility. And let me know if there's food. That's it. Anything else I can get my damn self.

The problem is that people mistake this sort of self reliant, self sufficient behavior for the doormat thing. It's happened before, like I'm being actively punished for trying to require as little as possible from others.

Anyway, I'm not returning to the DM's games. And if he wants to continue playing anything I host, I'm going to have a long talk with him about how he treats my content and how I'm no longer going to honor his re-writes.
