Spoilers form CoS

TLDR: Had a fellow player abandon us in combat, call us all murder hobos in character and so I told him the PC can be a farmer.

New player about 5 months in. I started CoS and joined into a campaign where they are at the abbey with the weird priest. As we leave we hear loud crying, yelling from a room and we investigate. Next thing we know all the monsters/people being experimented on by the abbot start running out into the court yard (Described to be about 40ish monstrous humanoids ready to kill and eat us and the town below)

Before they get a chance to escape one of our players casts wall of fire and kills most of them and then the abbot tried to kill that PC so we defended ourselves. Except for the fighter who straight up walks away the beginning of combat because he disagreed with what happened as the dark edgy brooding type.

We finish the fight and all of us asked the fighter dude wtf why did you leave us. To which he in character called us all “Murder Hobos”. I responded well looks like you should retire from adventuring and no one in the party wants to be with a “do nothing farmer and a runaway coward”. You can disagree with what happened but your party members lives were in danger and you decided to abandon us I’m not playing with this character.
