Why I trip on DMT ? -because it's God damn fun to chat to my imaginary elves

Haven't you ever had a dream where you are having a conversation with someone, it's quite common. When psychedlics enter your brain, cognitive processes become distorted. This is why the trips are so strange and the people become machine elves , this property also allows your brain to take up a different perspective to a problem that's been bugging your subconscious, hence giving you insight.

There is a part in your brain called the thalamus , and it regulates sensory input. The DMT experience is so vivid because of deregulation, hence why the experience gives an overwhelming amount of stimuli.

This explanation is much more consistent with our reality. As oppose to interdimendional travel to meet some aliens ....
