Go see someone and discuss your mental health problems. The UK isn't America. There are youth centres all over which will help you with your problems. In 4 years from now, you'll realise you were a dumbass for not taking one hour out of your week to go discuss your problems with someone who works there.
When you go to university to pick up any brochures/leaflets for mental health and counselling. Please understand that the university is not a secondary school/college. None of the students give a fuck if you go to counselling and they certainly don't care if some guy is picking up leaflets during orientation week.
Just an NSFW TL;DR for you: No one at university give a fuck about what you do. If you pick up a mental health leaflet they won't judge you, because they just don't give a fuck. "What will they think of me?" they don't give a fuck. "They'll tell people" you're never going to see them again.
