As a doctor in a tertiary hospital we deal with a lot of patients in a shift and it’s hard to show empathy when you literally have no time. What was a small something a medical professional did or say that made you feel better during your hospital experiences ?

Nothing. Last time I went to the ER for an ear infection that was so bad I got a huge lump on my head and was becoming super dizzy and mentally out of it. This was during covid mind you. the nurse snapped out of nowhere while I was telling her my symptoms and literally yelled at me THIS IS NOT AN EMERGENCY. I've never wanted to kick the shit out of a fat woman until then. That's when I realized healthcare workers are stupid fucking pussies. If you can't handle the job just fuck off and stop complaining how hard it is to watch obese people die from the flu when other people have real problems. I spent more time at the hospital trying to understand what was happening to me then I did talking to a doctor. None of the employees wanted to take ownership for what happened and I was basically shuffled around different people who did not give a fuck because they don't have an incentive to admit wrong doing. I can't imagine the type of horrible things these people get away wit
