The NRA loves creating an us versus them narrative and is now fanning the flames of resentment against the “elites” (in this case doctors). They make their money off of fear and divisive rhetoric, the stuff that is tearing this country apart and turning deadly. They made a killing (no pun intended) off Parkland when Dana took the stage at the town halls.

They also have stopped funding for studies on gun violence from the CDC because they argue that researchers are biased. No shit they are, they see mangled bodies every day while the NRA sits in their nice offices and can work from home on major protest days. The NRA doesn’t have to see the consequences of the policies they promote.
