Doctors of Reddit: What happened when you diagnosed a Covid-19 denier with Covid-19?

The one silver lining that I found with the Covid crisis is we have such a clear-cut snapshot of the insanity and the level of those dealing with disorders that live amongst us, Parker or spouse, close family or friend, community member, those in positions of management or government and beyond.

We have a ridiculously large problem with individuals that are not capable nor safe to manage their lives or others or entire populations.

My mother was terrified of getting Covid, now that it’s her turn to get her vaccine, her immediate response was well I’m worried about the side effects.

And I said if you ever want to see your family again, you’ll get your shot like a responsible adult. If I hear another thing from you that isn’t yes I will, then also you will no longer be part of the family. I have no sympathy for such people. I don’t care who they are.

In the future will have to find an ETHICAL way to determine on a broad scale who is disordered and who is not.
