Doctors of Reddit: What's the creepiest thing you've encountered while on the job?

So I used to work in a first floor office in a downtown la warehouse. The owner was illegally converting the upper floors of the building into lofts. Not to say he wasn't getting the permits, it's just he wasn't waiting for them. And he was renting out rooms as they became available. Well one week they started doing renovations on the first floor. I would walk in and walk through the construction to get to my office. Well one day I'm at the office late. Like 10pm late. It was awful. Anyway at about 11 I finish up, I was tired, I had skipped lunch. I lock up the office and... They had fucking sealed up my exit route. They had put up walls where I normally enter and exit the building.

I go to the back door and its locked. I am trapped in the building. I call my boss and he refuses to come over and unlock the door. The fuck.

So I'm wandering through the building trying to find a way out. Locked door after locked door. Until I find the entrance to the warehouse. It's pitch fucking black. Cept for a light in the middle of the warehouse. A walk over to it and it's a light on a circular saw. On a table. Surrounded by mannequins. No one is there but me. And I'm thoroughly freaked out.

I walk past it and find a staircase on the other end of the warehouse. It's blocked by random warehouse crap and construction materials. I start moving them out of the way. When I hear the sound of something falling. I look up and the light has turned off.

I run into the staircase shaft and the door closes and locks behind me. God I hate this place. Fire stair with locked doors on the ground level. What is this fucking place. Let alone the mannequins and whatever the fuck just happened back there.

It was pretty smooth after that. I just had to walk 6 flights to the top. Walk over and took the elevator down to the first level on the other side if the new walls. Victorious, I fucking went home.
