Disconnected the parking brake green/white wire. Went on some errands. Brake light still came on. Made sure fluid was full again and its fine.

I turned the key again and got it to go off. Im convinced it has to do with something in the ignition switch. Seems if i turn it back to ACC and then back it gets rid of the light.

I did have the abs sensor thats on top of the diff replaced couple years ago so not sure if that will illuminate brake light or ABS light on dash? IIRC I had a brake light on and took it into a shop to et the tires looked at and that when i asked them to look into the brake light. But after that i never had the light come on again. It really didnt start having issues until i put the new ignition in. Im thinking that may be it.

So im stumped...But the brakes work fine otherwise.
