So America has problems with drugs, crime and inequality, why add guns to that mix then? Doesn't sound like a recipe for success.

Wyoming has one of the largest percentages of gun ownership and yet in many years it has less than 10 gun murders per year. Same for North Dakota.

You can't really cherry pick what areas you use for your point, America is a single nation with a single second amendment.

Black people are part of the American population just like every other race, are you suggesting we stop black people from getting guns? Sounds a lot fairer to stop everyone from getting them.
