I was just about to purchase the monitor but then saw a couple of reviews on YouTube that didn’t talk too well of it. I also saw a display analysis somewhere and they said it was a mediocre IPS panel, just like the Acer Nitro VG220Q, which was my second option but also turned down due to poor display quality reviews.

I instead went with a non freesync AOC monitor, since the VRR was too narrow anyways to enable LFC, and with my RX 470 it didn’t make much sense since most of the games I play don’t reach 75 FPS.

What I learned though is that you either buy a dirt cheap monitor to simply get the job done, or you go with something more expensive but with a minimum quality guarantee. In my case I gave up freesync in order to keep my budged but have a decent (not saying it’s spectacular though, it is just good enough).
