Does anyone else consider having kids because what else is there to do?

I live in CA. We have a variety of rules for how someone can be registered as a marriage and family therapist and I believe we're now adding to them. That said, if a therapist said you should have kids and you want to complain about that, you got no one to go to. It's not like doctors where there's a right way to do things and they can be held accountable if they make mistakes.

I get that you want therapy to be some kind of exact science, but it really isn't. Different practitioners do different things.

In other words, let's say OP lived in CA. Who do I go to and say "this person is doing therapy wrong"? And will they listen. I believe the answer is "no one" and "no". Do you believe I'm wrong?
