Does anyone else get extremely sick of people suggesting psychedelics to trauma sufferers willy nilly?

I accumulated significant trauma since graduating from college where psychedelics were pretty easily obtained and I feel like use then wasn’t particularly helpful. As a middle aged person with a solid sense of identity and with years of nonutilization I feel like it would be worth looking into as a resource of interest. Not for recreation but in a guided manner with someone with expert experience under concurrent talk therapy. People accept decades of tx with anxiety medication from their PCPs without ever examining exactly why they need them. More comprehensive treatment is more than reasonable whether or not it includes psychedelic therapy modalities
