Does anyone else feel this way about having kids?

I dont really have any answers as far as how to feel better about it. Of course genetics arent the end of the world, but I understand the desire for the child to be from both of you genetically. I will say however that theres a ton of research being done into this kind of thing and there has been lots of breakthroughs on making sperm/eggs out of stem cells (from bone marrow or skin or even out of blood) and the sperm/eggs created are technically the genetics of whoever the cells came from. theres still lots of work to be done on it but apparently one day it might be possible for both of you to have a child that is genetically a combination of you two. I wish that the research advances quickly and one day you are able to have a child like that. (and of course nothing wrong with any other method, just bringing it up as a potential possibility in the future) <3
