Just as a point about how Greta talked to him about 911. I found my husband on the floor last week after he passed out. My 7 year old had zero words to communicate to me something was wrong before he went down- just that daddy was asking for me, it was 7 am and I’m not a morning person so I was just saying well tell him to come in here. My son just repeated over and over daddy wants you. I go in the kitchen to find him and my son was on his iPad in the next room over. I was a mess with 911. My 7 year old is obsessed with all things rescue. My husband is a volunteer firefighter and used to work as a tele-communicator. My son has been exposed to this sort of thing his entire life and wants to be in the coast guard when he grows up. Yet he shut down in the situation and I was a hot mess. It was really bad. As to the rest of his behavior for a 13 year old, I do think he acts less grown for his age, but what grade is he supposed to be in? I was a middle school teacher and I do know some of my 6th graders still acted like he does. By 8th grade they get too cool for school. I’m also a Stepparent with a 19 & 20 year old and taught middle school while they were in middle school.. and I noticed they would act a lot more… trying to act less grown at home than they did at school. I actually remember the day I realized I should stop snuggling with my stepson- he was maybe 14 and I asked if he wanted to watch a tv show with me and I was lying on my bed but wasn’t snuggling him but he still would sometimes at that age. Idk why but no one else in the family was around at the time. And I thought to myself.. Omg if someone comes in the house, they’re gonna think I’m a perv. Does anyone know how old the actor who plays him is in real life? His voice doesn’t seem to have changed any yet.
