Does anyone else go to a not so amazing high school?

I go to a really average high school. 45% of kids in my school get free/reduced lunch, and the only thing my school cares about is football even though we aren't that great at it. we are given access to "career cruising" for college searching, but no one knows their login info anyway. there are college fairs and stuff, but it's always local schools with high acceptance rates. no one at my school knew what a national merit semifinalist was until I was the first in my school history. if it weren't for my dad's commitment to helping me with the whole application process, there's no way I could be as put-together as I am right now. I wouldn't know what opportunities I actually have, and would be kinda lost. Many people seem to go to great high schools here though? they all remind me of my wealthy cousins bc that's my only experience with that type of school, lmao
