Does anyone else notice people seemingly NOT disabled that park in disabled with a placard?

Thank you for the apology. A sign of class.

Last time I looked I don't have a death wish so I don't approach strangers in a parking lot! LOL! You never know the response that you are going to get. Oh damn that stupidity has happened to me even when I am having a good day with my back and walk like an L.

I have all the applicable laws in plastic page protectors in a flexible notebook so I can whip them out and say "Oh my I am afraid that you are mistaken. Don't worry, I have the law right here and I will read you it in its entirety." I don't get past the first five words when they get all huffy and make some angry remark and stomp off.

My absolute favorite is when I am told that I MUST have my placard hanging from my rear view mirror. They look and see that I don't have a rear view mirror! I have side mirrors big enough that a rear view is not required and also the nature of my vehicle a pickup with a shell eliminates the ability to actually see out the rear view so what is the point of a mirror? Nope, the able bodied say. You are not allowed to place your placard on your dash. And I whip out my notebook again and start to read. I do like threatening to bore people so much that they run away.

Yes, we disabled need to defend ourselves from the prejudiced against the disabled and from those that are trying to protect us and from those that are going to damn well make sure that we follow the laws that only us disabled have to follow like where we can and can't put our placards.

Copy all the laws, put them in page protectors in a flexible notebook, keep it on the front seat of your vehicle and if you need help, call me, and I will hold our able bodied friends down and you can shove the laws down their throats. LOL!

I found that DMV link after driving loops around Costco parking lot for an hour and seeing people that looked really suspicious. DMV makes you give them the placard number and so I wait until they are out of sight so I can take a photo. Looks weird trying to take a photo of those placards.
