Does anyone else get tripped up by fiction!

well realistically speaking, it sounds as though you may be MTF - so it makes sense for a woman to connect more with women characters, viewing the males as fillers... just as myself, a man, have always viewed it as the opposite.

there have been thousands over the years, but tyler durden has always been an icon for me... especially with what the book discusses about masculinity and self-image. his charming aura, confidence, assertiveness, and pretty much everything apart from the extreme negatives were what i looked up to as a kid. cockiness, competitiveness, protectiveness, defiance/combative and aggressiveness, as i share all these traits, are also ones i especially enjoy in (and have even adopted from) said fictional characters. i could go on for hours lol
