Does anyone else wake up with this overwhelming feeling that society/life on Earth is pointless?

I mean it is all pointless in the end. No one will remember you in 100 years (most likely, unless you've done something seriously incredible). Which is fine.

I've had a very difficult time grasping that nothing I do truly matters, so why bother right? You can't control everything, so you've got to do what you can.

I'm starting to learn and accept that life is just all about the ride and the experiences we have. Enjoy everything you can, love who you want, and do the things you want to do. Life is what you make it. So I do that. I hang out with the people I like (they are few and far between) and do the things that I like. At the end of the day as long as I feel somewhat fulfilled I feel ok going to sleep at night.

Of course in the grand scheme of things it's all pointless. But I think that as long as (overall) you're happy when you reach the end of your life, that's all that matters, since most of us will never make a huge impact on the way "society" works. Just try to make the most of your time here because you've only got so many spins around the sun left. ¯_(ツ)_/¯
