Does anyone ever wonder what it would be like to be mixed race in a period like the 1920's or 1930's?

Really terrible, this was the period the British Empire was collapsing of the British and there were hundreds of thousands of Eurasians in Asia during the colonial period, mainly in India and Burma. There were also many pure-blooded British born in India and Burma at the time.

These Eurasians were brought up with predominately British cultural influence as were the pure blooded British people, towards to end of British rule many British families wanted to start migrating back to Britain or other colonies like Australia. Initially the mixed Eurasians often were not given the same rights to leave and thus many families were seperated, many Eurasians were already abandoned growing up in orphanages due to mixed marriages being highly taboo at the time. Some Eurasians that were able to pass as White left and often went on to marry White people.
