The story isn’t all that if I’m being honest, a bit of a overdone concept thematically and narratively. However that’s not even the reason why I wouldn’t prefer it to be a movie as the cyberpunk genre as a whole is something I’ve be greeted by in movies to begin with and something I’d anticipated to be fully explorable in a video game for such a long time. I kinda got what I wanted, granted a lot of missed potential, but I’m satisfied for what it is as a game just not so much as a contender for a best picture or best game narrative at that. Some of the side quest however, particularly the one about the Peralez’s, would have been a really great action/mystery series or whatnot.
