Does anyone feel much more confident when wearing a mask in public?

I'd usually be the same but I finally had the courage to start growing my beard out back in February after shaving every day for almost a decade - making changes to how I look somehow gives me huge amounts of anxiety (even something as small as having short stubble, hence why I shaved every day), so this was a pretty drastic change. I actually kinda like how I look now (as opposed to finding myself straight up ugly for years), so everything closing 2 weeks after making the decision & having to cover it up kind of sucks. :P It does feel comforting in terms of anxiety, but I'm afraid that might backfire a bit when all this is over and wearing a mask becomes weird/outstanding again.
