Does anyone solar charge their bolt with off-grid solar?

I'm also interested in the answer to this question.

Not an expert but a layman's stab at it: the solar system would need to consistently supply at least 8 amps @ 120v... which is only 0.96 KW. The higher 12 amp charging would require 1.44 KW, well within the capacity of a 2.4 KW solar system. So I think you'd need an inverter sized something like 2KW (to supply 0.96KW or 1.44KW with some margin) , a battery to smooth out sun interruptions (AH size?), and a charge controller in addition to the panels. Hoping to see some more informed replies to this than mine. Maybe harder than I think. Seems like it would be a fun project if you have space to install the panels and budget for other components etc.

I have only a tiny 'toy' system with 2X100W 12v panels to charge a 50ah 12v LFP battery, and 1KW inverter to power some essential electronics. Not enough to charge an EV. And kind of obsoleted now that I have the Bolt's large battery (and another EV too) as an emergency reserve.
