Does anyone want to see a ST show that starts at the end of the Dominion Wars and the return of Voyager including a conglomerate of all characters willing to come back an play their parts?

If it had to be that close to the previous era, maybe a cameo at the beginning, like Picard at the beginning of DS9 and then done.

I want to see what happens in the future of the Star Trek Universe. Take us 10, 20, 50+ years past TNG/DS9/VOY.

"Seek out new life and new civilizations."

I've watched entirely too many hours devoted to the Klingons. I love the Klingons. I learned to speak the language when I was younger. We've seen them. We know their culture. We know how they operate.

Transwarp is a thing. Why can't we have a show with the first transwarp Enterprise? Exploring the furthest reaches of the galaxy.

Go to places we've never been, never seen, and meet new aliens and new experiences and new stories.

That's what I want, not "show us a bunch of shit that happened before".

They tried that already, and it failed. Star Trek is about moving forward, not back.

A show in the future doesn't have to be an Enterprise rehash, or Star Trek The Next Next Generation, or a BSG clone, or any of the other arguments that people bring up against it.

You know how to make sure? Hire some fucking talented writers that know Trek. All of it.

Instead we're getting NuTrek: The Series, and we get to watch it shit all over the franchise.
