I am glad they are not bombing us to impose their values. The West likes to impose and export its cultural values via wars, movies, music, etc.

The last war was about bringing "democracy" to Iraq. We need to be careful about this narrative because warmongers and neocons use simple minded to cheer for wars: "bringing human rights" to people.

As for the issue, what you find "deviant" is not the same for other cultures. I could highlight what they find "deviant" about the West and worse than their marital practice, but my post would get removed. This thought doesn't even cross most minds since people are indoctrinated to accept, and normalize their own cultural practices.

Secondly, this dating behavior is common in most countries, in some it's more hidden than others. For some it takes on the form of young girls "doing film auditions" in front of 50 year old producers, in others, they marry. OF and porn are also exploitation of young girls. There is a long list if we were to talk about negative "cultural norms".
