I also am confused at times with whether it's straight up BPD or not. It didn't feel like it was mirroring but then again maybe they just knew that I tend to like people who have their own opinions and a strong sense of self. It's more like they perfectly offered what it is that I like.

Then again they also have I think a generic type of goodness they present. Like they told me all these stories that demonstrate what they wanted me to believe about them. I realized at some point these are just the same stories they tell to everyone to create an impression. I realized this when they told me the same story twice. I realized this is where I even came up with my beliefs that they were a certain way. It's like brainwashing and they create an idea of this character for you. It's clever and not too obvious. And I don't even know does that sound like npd, bpd or even traits of aspd. They also are constantly referencing themselves as a good person but not in an obvious way. Such a convincing fraud
