Why does everyone downvote threads for asking questions?

More about it being a trend.

If you go and sort by new right now every single topic even with 32 responses is downvoted.

Other than that is just art and meme's.

Most people are not here for negative Karma even if its a made up thing. It never feels good for a person reaching out for help and then feeling like shit because they asked.

Especially with all the fluff that is top of the thread. Why is it a big deal for someone to ask a question. If someone has been here for years then just ignore it, going out of their way to have a negative impact on that person just turns this experience into WOW.

Most people are exceptionally kind, it just really bothered me for some reason.

I just can not imagine a scenario if I was on another gaming sub and was having a hard time with something, On Dark Souls we encourage people to ask questions. You could watch an hour of Youtube video's and ready xyz guides but being able to have someone tell you "Hey, I have been a vet since launch day, here is how I found ABC123 works better than another thing" shoot maybe the person even is on your server and you can run a dungeon or introduce them to someone.

Just promote the same in-game kindness.

I was going to ask a PVP question, I have gone to the discord PVPaissa, watched videos about it only after 15 minutes to find the top comment say "Hey, this is from an old patch, none of it is relevant," and every-time I search reddit its 2 year old material.

But basically I can not do that because people are tired of reading questions that are not relevant to them.
