Why does everyone hate AOD?

I hate their mindset, how they encourage over zerging and equate that to having some level of skill. Dropping an absurd amount of people on a base to obliterate any and all fight is what i hate more than anything else in this game. Before anything else this is a FPS. When your tactics revolve around not fighting i don't even see a point of playing this game. It's one thing to have to do it to take a base that can't be taken other wise or when you know you will need the numbers because you expect an even amount of reinforcements but when you just steam roll a lattice line(or ghost cap a whole continent) and then talk shit in yell chat how you are so good then it makes me hate you even more, even if I'm on the same side as you. It's not just an AOD thing, they are the biggest but I don't even think they are as bad as DaPP. And they haven't perfected the redeploy fight extinguishers like GOKU has.

Beyond that AOD is also disliked because they are the main reason the TR doesn't have the same level of medium sized and higher skilled outfits as the VS or even the NC(but the TR is only a lil worse than the NC when it comes to that). They are really the only regular open platoons, which is not their fault and a good thing in the end, but when a new person joins and sees the first page of open squads all being AOD they just become another zergling swallowed up and lose any potential skill advancement they could have had unless they wise up down the road. When a noob joins AOD they are really taught nothing other than how to zerg and it creates a snowball effect of more and more zerglings. Anyone who stays in AOD and doesn't leave for better outfits eventually is doomed to be mediocre for the rest of their time in planetside. When confronted about about their skill level they then always fall back to the reapers and how they are so good. When you have 8000 or how ever many members you better have at least a squad or two of good players because if you don't then that's just pathetic. And it's not even like the reapers are even "MLG" or even close to the same skill level as TIW, AC or DA. They are just above average when it comes to some coordination.

I believe most medium sized and higher skilled outfits rely more on word of mouth than actual recruitment which is their own problem. If the TR really wanted to get some better mid sized outfits they would have to try harder. It wouldn't be as easy as the VS or even the NC(even with AODN) because they would have to compete with the black hole of recruiting that is AOD but it is still possible. But I feel most outfits either don't care enough or have given up so the blame is just thrown out lazily at AOD.

In the end I feel that amassing as many people as AOD has is more of a hurt to this game(and server) than a benefit for more reasons than one. If it was up to me there would be a cap of how many players an outfit could have and it would not be anywhere near as many members that they have.
