Oh look, you've managed to mention a legitimate research firm. Now how about a link, since the only survey I found on tattoos on their site was about public opinion of police officers with tattoos.

This is the link they are talking about.

The research comes from 2012 but I've got to agree with the idea that the majority of people don't have tattoos still. A lot more do than they did 10-20 years ago, but if you're asking for proof from people then maybe you'd like to back up your claim with a study?

Just to be clear I googled 'percentage of people with tattoos' and that NPR link was the top result. Followed by many more, up to 2016, which you are welcome to look up yourself. None of them show that 'the majority' of people have tattoos.
